The most direction-less movie I've seen so far.

If there's one thing that I liked..then it'd be the water sport fun that has been shot.Was kinda cool

Otherwise..the movie's Total waste.

Wake Up Sid ( 2009 )

Fine - it was predictable.

Fine - It had no intimate scenes.

Fine - The protagonist was made to look stupid.

Fine - Just fine whatever it was !

I liked it !

It wasn't extremely heart-tugging but it was heart warming.

And then , I kind of believe there is something like Platonic Love.

I loved the characters.The dialogues.The 'chilled' flow of the movie.

And what I liked the most was - there was no over-acting on part of the leading actors.It looked so natural.

The plot is digestible! Totally!

The music is cool.

Light headed movie with some short heavy delights.

Ice Age : Dawn of the Dinasaurs ( 2009 )

Animation : Superb!

Story line : Lil predictable , Warm ..Friendly

Better than Ice Age 2 but doesn't beat Ice Age !

Some scenes are absoulte delight to watch! Hats off to the one who moulded such imagination on screen.

And of course , the dialogues are hilarious !

New characters in movie - One looked to me like an avtar of Jack Sparrow :D Was kinda cool!

Turtles Can Fly ( 2004 )

I've never seen such lovely kids ever on screen before or even in real life.
The innocence , the pain , the quest in their eyes is reflected so neatly that it amazes me that these are just young little ones !

Usually , a movie that leaves me with no proper end or the one that leaves me to judge, imagine & weave the story ahead is my least favorite.It kinda haunts me with "why ? why ?? why ???"
But this is one of those exceptional movies that I've seen in a long time & that's what makes it one of my most memorable watches.

"It's a gentle, intelligent reminder of how small our world is, how similar we are, how porous our borders and our cultures — wars, bans and restrictions notwithstanding; and its sophisticated world-view is a gentle rebuke to provincial views of the world in American cinema." - I read this somewhere online written by a critic.

A tragic end but full of cute moments all the while.All the children in the movie are beautiful.
If one is armless & clairvoyant , the other is blind & mysterious , if one is raped & strong , the other doesn't have a leg.
But this movie wasn't made to sympathize with the kids nor does it tell that a war-prone zone has such kids.The focus truly is on how these lil ones are so mature to make some big decisions.Decisions that may not be right..and actions that are so heart breaking and sometimes so full of 'awww' - that you begin to love the kids & never want the movie to end.
The focus is on some abnormal incidents in the lives of these normal people.

The movie is set in the pre-war background.Many silly ones may find the movie hopeless for it ends abruptly - at a point where you expect something crucial - but I think that's what makes it more realistic & painful.

Even with sub-titles ..I found myself smiling at those cute conversations.

Watch it!Its not everyday you hear people applauding after a movie ends :)

Hangover ( 2009 )

The worst part about watching a movie too late is that your expectations are blown out of proportion.Now everywhere that I lay my eyes on hangover's views - it made me believe that this movie is the most awesome piece of comedy I'm ever to watch.Sadly its not the best!

Slapstick comedy ain't a clever comedy.But The movie is FUN.

Its also entertaining for that matter. ( Doesn't bore you that's why)

You've gotta be drunk to be 'loving it'.

And you do feel you are drunk while 'watching it'.

Some things are flat stupid yet flat funny! That makes up for that ONE flaw I saw in the entire movie - The guy who was to get married cld have been located much at the beginning of the movie when his 3 sozzled friends saw his mattress up on the terrace ! Thats the biggest 'mistake' in the script.But if it weren't for that mistake..there was no way this movie could have been so hilarious!

Go watch.Have fun.Get drunk w/o sipping alcohol ;)

Love Aaj Kal

• I'm not sure what to make of this flick.The concept was cool.Realistic."Practical" But the movie didn't have the kind of grip you expect from a 'love story'
• I always have one condition for a love story based movie - they ought to lift your spirits.Love Aaj Kal cannot do that.Not today.Not tomorrow :P
• The break-up party thing is cool ;) I mean cool as in ..to watch.I wonder which couple on earth would do that :- But if one does..then its hot :D
• No chemistry between Saif & Deepika
• Some conversations are super sexy :D
• Deepika cannot act :( Seriously ! And she cannot carry mini outfits either.Looks weird.
• Saif was hyper through out.I mean the character.Also , somehow the movie rushes at times where it shouldn't & drags when it shouldn't :S
• Cool script gone wrong.I've already been called 'mad' by a friend for not liking this movie.
• I wonder what I sld like bout it.It just didn't CONNECT :) inspite of being based on today's generation
• Time pass movie.

Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince

One thing about HP movies is that they make fantasy seem reality for a good two hrs which feels like a loooong time. HP movies are appealing . No doubts there. The visualization is awesome as long as it is strictly stuck to the script.Beyond that , comparing the movie with the book is no comparison at all.That is to say - do not compare.

I haven't read a single HP book ..so of course did not understand a lot of things.Had a friend along with me to guide me through.Now if you've read the book - you'll be highly disappointed because the movie script is cut shorter & shorter. A lot of incidents have been omitted.And you cannot blame much..its very difficult to juice a thick book into a 2 hr movie.Although the fact is the kind of Potter fever the world has - one cld sit through a 5 hr long HP movie as well.The makers must think of that :P

Well at least two parts are being made for the last of the sequel , Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows.

For those who haven't read the book, just like me..will find the movie OK.Not very attractive.I feel the best one was the Goblet of Fire in terms of its direction & entertainment.

The sound effects in the movie are great.It grips you all the way.

The romance blooming among the now matured teens is cute to watch.

Its entertaining.Its dark.

cannot wait for the release of last one of the series.

Beautiful movie inspite of being heavily erotic.
Its something you need to watch with a non-pervy mind.

There are not many words spoken into this movie.Just expressions.Which are truely genuine.

Monica Belluci has done a great work.She looks pretty.And as far as I remember ..she hasn't spoken more than 10 lines in the movie , yet her beauty , grace & expressions keeps you glued.

There's something magical bout this movie.Probably because even when not many things are said ..the visual implication of it are very strong.

Last lines : I pedaled as fast as I could... as if I were escaping from longing, from innocence, from her. Time has passed, and I have loved many women. And as they've held me close... and asked if I will remember them I've said, "Yes, I will remember you." But the only one I've never forgotten is the one who never asked... Malena

Its not a pacy movie.Must watch with patience & adore its beauty.

Spiderman 3

Why didn't anyone tell me thats Spidey3 is GOOD!
Like seriously thanks to my lil brother's spiderman fantasies that I finally watched this one on DVD. Missed it in multiplex!

One or two things here & there looked fake.But overall I liked it.

New York

This one's OK. They ruined the climax otherwise I would have tagged New York 'Good'

America post 9/11 changes the lives of muslims in particular.The innocent ones are detained , made to go through hell etc etc.That's the structure of the movie.

Khuda Kay Liye was 10 times stronger in every aspect compared to New York.

Dig : Climax!! Why ? Why cldn't they mould it properly ? I have no complaints with Sam being shot but it could have been done in a realistic way ( since the rest of the movie is very much Real )

Katrina Khaif is no more than a plastic barbie doll with a beautiful smile which conceals all her non acting ablilities. She was worst in the end - the most crucial part for her to play.
